Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' is a deciduous shrub that grows to a height of 1-1.5 m and forms a large shrub. autumn with the advent of colder weather beautifully colored in bright red. In winter, impressively shaped branches stand out. They form cork strips, so they are square. It blooms very subtly from May to June. If the flowers are pollinated, the tree is then decorated with small but very striking red-orange fruits. They then remain on the shrub until winter.
Requirements: grows best in sunny or slightly shaded habitats. It is not demanding and soil, does not like waterlogging. Hardy in our conditions.
